Lorrain Briscoe, a seasoned musician and dedicated educator, calls South London home. With a remarkable 25-year journey in the industry, she shines as a lead and backing vocalist, choir leader, and music teacher. Lorrain’s expertise in choir direction extends to recording projects and educational institutions, notably leading The Reggae Choir.

Her musical voyage began post acquiring a BA (Hons) in Commercial Music and a PGCE in Secondary Music Education. For 17 years, Lorrain has nurtured budding talents, serving as a passionate music teacher. As a versatile performer, she effortlessly transitions between genres, embracing gospel, reggae, jazz, pop, and traditional styles.

Lorrain’s collaborative spirit has seen her share stages and studios with renowned artists such as Alexander O’Neal, Beverley Knight, and Lionel Richie, among a host of others. In 1997, she recorded her debut album, “Up All Night,” enjoying underground acclaim in the UK and Japan. Today, she continues to collaborate with esteemed artists like Imagination feat. Leee John, The Reggae Choir, and Shiro Sagisu (Japan).

Beyond her professional accolades, Lorrain is a devoted mother to two boys, gracefully balancing her musical pursuits with the joys and responsibilities of parenthood.
